My sister Megan graduated from Indiana University this spring, is off to the real world, and soon to be living in Washington D.C. Megan, my dad and I flew out to Bloomington, Indiana for one last look at the town, another college night with Megan's friends and to drive back to California in my dad's old 1995 BMW 525i.
The car spent the past two years living in a college town and subsequently received an undetermined amount of abuse. The most obvious of this being the smashed/stomped-in hood we were greeted with upon getting to Megan's house. Dents and dings aside, the car is a beast and mobbed from Indiana to California in two days with no trouble.
Indiana was a lot of fun, the drive was a small dose of insanity (day two was over 16 hours of driving), but driving this car again is amazing.
